Jeff Gere was the drama specialist for the City & County of Honolulu Parks Department, where he created and produced for 26 years the Talk Story Festival and a storytelling television and radio series. He has toured Hawaii, the mainland and internationally since retiring in 2014, until the virus hit this year. He has been part of every Hawai‘i Book and Music Festival and now he gardens and talks to his computer screen.
