Jan Iwase spent 45 years as an educator in Hawai`i. After retiring in 2018, she wrote two books. The first, Leading with Aloha: From the Pineapple Fields to the Principal’s Office, was published in 2019. Her second book, Educating with Aloha: Reflections from the Heart on Teaching and Learning, was published this year.
