Colette Browne is Professor Emerita, Thompson School of Social Work and Public Health, University of Hawai‘i at Manoa, and serves on the State’s Policy Advisory Board for Elderly Affairs. Dr. Browne’s scholarly work and service, both nationally and here in Hawai‘i, examines aging from a life course perspective with special attention to marginalized older adults and gender and aging.
