Dr. Roy Gal is an Associate Specialist at the University of Hawaiʻi Institute for Astronomy, where he oversees their outreach program and media relations, teaches, and conducts research. He received his BA in Astronomy from Columbia University and PhD from Caltech. His research focuses on using large sky surveys and multi-wavelength datasets to study the evolution of galaxies in the Universe's densest regions.
