LIS Student/ MCBH library technician
Jessika Ross is a Library Technician at the Marine Corps Base Hawai’i Library and a MLISc student at UH Mānoa, projected to graduate in Spring of 2023. Before she discovered her calling in the LIS world, she graduated with a B.S. in Studio Arts from NYU and has worked in various roles around the world supporting the arts, education and literacy. This includes directing a Jewish literary festival and art gallery, filming and creating underwater dive videos, working as an art technician at a high school and teaching art and sewing at the Honolulu Museum of Art. In her free time, Jessika can be found spending time outside with her family including her husband and two daughters, collecting marine debris on beaches or making “All The Things”.
